Meet the people behind the work
Adam’s experience. Your plans.
Ultimate Paving & grass is led by Adam Barley, who brings 20 years of hands-on industry experience. From our base in Retford, Adam leads a dedicated three-person team working on residential driveways, patios, paving, landscaping and artificial grass.
Your outdoor space needs to work for the way you live. You might want a more practical place to park, a patio for time outside, or a garden with a better balance of paving and lawn. We help you consider those choices together, rather than treating every surface as a separate decision.
A free site visit is the starting point. You can explain what works, what does not and what you want to change. The team can assess the space and discuss suitable materials before providing a detailed fixed-price quote. There is no published one-size-fits-all price: the quote relates to the work agreed for your property.
Mission & working standards
Practical choices. Clear commitments.
A quote you can plan around
Site visits and consultations are free. The next step is a detailed fixed-price quote, not an estimate. Discuss the agreed scope and payment stages with Adam before work starts. Payments are staged, with the final payment due on completion.
Workmanship with a guarantee
Our work carries a five-year workmanship guarantee, and the business has £5m public liability insurance. Ask Adam about how the guarantee applies to your agreed project; these commitments are not a substitute for choosing the right surface and preparation for your home.
Materials with documented standards
Resin bound installations use Daltex systems exclusively and are SUDS compliant. Our 42mm luxury artificial grass has a ten-year UV-stable manufacturer guarantee. That manufacturer cover is distinct from the five-year workmanship guarantee. The business is not on an approved-installer scheme and holds no trade association memberships.
Services & coverage
Retford-based. Ready to discuss your home.
Local installation covers our listed areas across Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Artificial grass can also be supplied nationally, with installation offered locally.
Your next step
A better outdoor space starts with a conversation.
Tell Adam what you want to change. A free site visit gives us the opportunity to assess your space and prepare a detailed fixed-price quote. Payments are staged, with the final payment due on completion.
